Descending into Jim Corbett National Park, open 4x4 safaris navigate dense sal forests and grasslands along the Ramganga River to track wild elephants and tigers, before concluding with wooden rowing boat journeys across mountain-framed Naini Lake.

DAY 01

Delhi to Haridwar and Har Ki Pauri Evening Aarti

You depart Delhi in the morning by private air-conditioned vehicle, driving north across the plains to Haridwar. You arrive and check in to your hotel. In the late afternoon, you proceed to the sacred ghat of Har Ki Pauri on the banks of the River Ganga. You take your position to witness the grand evening Ganga Aarti, watching the synchronized waving of multi-tiered brass fire lamps and listening to Vedic chants as floating diyas illuminate the water. You dine at your hotel.

DAY 02

Haridwar to Rishikesh and Mussoorie

Following breakfast, you drive upstream to Rishikesh. You explore the famous suspension bridges of Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula, observing riverside ashrams and temples along the green waters of the Ganges. In the afternoon, you ascend the winding road into the Garhwal Hills to Mussoorie, the "Queen of the Hills." You check in to your hotel and spend a relaxed evening strolling along Mall Road. You dine at your hotel.

DAY 03

Mussoorie Mountain Ridge and Himalayan Views

After breakfast, you spend the day exploring Mussoorie's scenic viewpoints. You visit Kempty Falls, a cascading mountain waterfall set among green hills. You drive up to Lal Tibba, the highest point in Mussoorie, taking in panoramic views of the snow-capped Himalayan range on clear days. You walk along the quiet pine-shaded path of Camel's Back Road and visit Gun Hill Point for views over the Doon Valley. You return to your hotel for dinner.

DAY 04

Mussoorie to Jim Corbett National Park via Kaladhungi

Following breakfast, you check out and descend the hills, traveling southeast along the Shivalik foothills toward the Ramganga River basin. You stop at Kaladhungi to visit the Jim Corbett Museum, the former winter home of Jim Corbett, exploring historical artifacts and writings on wildlife preservation. You continue to your wilderness resort on the periphery of Jim Corbett National Park. You spend the evening at leisure amidst forest surroundings and dine at the resort.

DAY 05

Corbett 4x4 Wildlife Safari to Nainital

You wake early for an open 4x4 jeep safari into the designated ecotourism zones of Jim Corbett National Park. Accompanied by an authorized naturalist, you navigate dense sal forests and riverine grasslands, searching for wild elephants, spotted deer, wild boar, marsh crocodiles, and the Royal Bengal Tiger. After the safari and breakfast at the resort, you check out and drive northeast into the Kumaon Hills to Nainital. You check in to your hotel and spend the evening relaxing by the lake.

DAY 06

Nainital Lake District and Mountain Panoramas

After breakfast, you explore Nainital's natural attractions. You visit the sacred lakeside Naina Devi Temple and Hanumangarhi Temple. You explore the natural interconnected rock caves of Eco Cave Gardens. In the afternoon, you take the ropeway or drive to Snow View Point for sweeping views of the Greater Himalayas. You enjoy a peaceful wooden boat ride on Naini Lake, gliding across the still water surrounded by wooded hills, and stroll along Mall Road in the evening. You dine at your hotel.

DAY 07

Nainital to Delhi and Departure

Following breakfast, you check out from your hotel and begin the descent from the Kumaon Hills. You drive south across the northern plains back to Delhi. Your tour manager arranges your drop-off at Indira Gandhi International Airport or New Delhi Railway Station for your onward journey.

Maintain strict silence inside safari vehicles. Never stand up, shout, or make sudden movements when encountering wild elephants or tigers. Do not discard trash or use flash photography in forest zones.

Pt. G.B. Pant High Altitude Zoo in Nainital is screened out from tour inclusions under Foxpels Design Constraint 2 (no captive animal displays); travellers are encouraged to explore natural lake walks and botanical viewpoints instead.
