DAY 01

Arrival in Indore and Sacred Ujjain

You arrive at Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport or Indore Junction Railway Station, where your tour manager greets you. You board your private vehicle and drive to the sacred city of Ujjain. You check in to your hotel and refresh. In the afternoon, you visit the revered Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, one of the twelve sacred abodes of Shiva. You visit the nearby Har Siddhi Temple, an ancient Shakti Peetha, and conclude your evening watching the sacred Shipra River Aarti at Ram Ghat. You dine at your hotel.

DAY 02

Ujjain Temples and Shri Mahakal Lok Corridor

Following breakfast, you spend the day exploring Ujjain's sacred and historical shrines. You visit the Kal Bhairav Temple, where traditional liquor offerings are made, followed by Sandipani Ashram, where Lord Krishna and Sudama received their education. You visit the ancient Bhartrihari Caves on the riverbank and Mangalnath Temple. In the late afternoon, you explore the magnificent 900-metre Shri Mahakal Lok Corridor, walking past 108 grand sandstone pillars, sculpted murals, and fountains illustrating the Shiva Purana. You return to your hotel for dinner.

DAY 03

Ujjain to Maheshwar Handlooms and Omkareshwar

After breakfast, you drive south across the Malwa plateau to the historic river town of Maheshwar on the banks of the sacred Narmada River. You explore the sandstone Maheshwar Fort, the royal seat of Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar, and admire the stone carvings of Ahilyeshwar Temple. You walk down the wide stone ghats to the water's edge. Later, you visit a traditional Maheshwari Saree Weaving Centre, watching master weavers operate wooden pit-looms to weave delicate silk-cotton sarees with historic border motifs. In the afternoon, you drive to the pilgrimage town of Omkareshwar, check in to your hotel, and dine in the evening.

DAY 04

Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga and Narmada Ghats to Indore

Following breakfast, you explore the sacred island of Mandhata, shaped naturally like the symbol 'Om'. You visit the Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the twelve sacred Shiva shrines, and cross to the southern riverbank to visit the ancient Mamleshwar Temple and the intricately carved 10th-century Siddhanath Temple. You spend quiet time along the Narmada ghats before driving north to Indore. You check in to your hotel and in the evening, you take a culinary walking tour of the famous Sarafa Bazaar street food night market. You dine on local specialties.

DAY 05

Indore Heritage and Departure

After breakfast, you visit the historic seven-storey Rajwada Palace in central Indore and the unique Kanch Mandir, a Jain temple adorned entirely in patterned glass and mirror mosaics. You check out from your hotel, and your tour manager arranges your private transfer to Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport or Indore Railway Station for your onward journey.
