DAY 01

Coimbatore Arrival and Mountain Drive to Ooty

You arrive at Coimbatore International Airport or Coimbatore Junction Railway Station, where your tour manager greets you. You board your private mountain vehicle and ascend the scenic Mettupalayam ghat road through mountain forests and tea gardens into Ooty (2,240m). You check in to your hotel and spend a relaxing evening strolling along Charring Cross Commercial Street, browsing local tea and spice shops. You dine at your hotel.

DAY 02

Ooty Nilgiri Panoramas and Botanical Gardens

After breakfast, you explore the natural highlights of Ooty. You drive up to Doddabetta Peak, the highest point in the Nilgiri Hills at 2,637 metres, taking in panoramic views of the surrounding valleys. You visit the Tea Factory & Museum to observe orthodox tea manufacturing and sample freshly brewed Nilgiri tea. In the afternoon, you walk through the historic Government Botanical Garden and the Government Rose Garden, and stroll along the edge of Ooty Lake. You dine at your hotel.

DAY 03

Coonoor Mountain Excursion: Sim's Park and Dolphin's Nose

Following breakfast, you take a scenic mountain excursion to Coonoor (1,850m). You explore Sim's Park, an exquisitely landscaped 12-hectare botanical garden home to rare temperate trees and colourful flower terraces. You drive through tea estates to Dolphin's Nose Viewpoint, standing atop the cliff edge to look across the deep gorge at Catherine Falls. You return to Ooty in the late afternoon and enjoy dinner at your hotel.

DAY 04

Ooty to Kodaikanal across the Palani Hills

After breakfast, you check out and begin the scenic drive descending the Nilgiris and crossing the fertile southern plains of the Palani plateau. You ascend the winding forested slopes of the Palani Hills into Kodaikanal (2,133m), the "Princess of Hill Stations." You check in to your hotel and spend a peaceful evening relaxing in the cool mountain atmosphere. You dine at your hotel.

DAY 05

Kodaikanal Shola Ridge: Coaker's Walk, Pillar Rocks and Kodai Lake

Following breakfast, you explore the natural beauty of Kodaikanal. You walk along Coaker's Walk, a pedestrian mountain path cut into the steep cliffside offering sweeping views of the plains below. You visit Bryant Park with its manicured flower beds and continue to Pillar Rocks, admiring the three giant granite boulders standing 300 feet high. You walk among the tall trees of Pine Forest and spend the late afternoon taking a peaceful stroll around star-shaped Kodai Lake. You dine at your hotel.

DAY 06

Kodaikanal Descent to Coimbatore and Departure

After breakfast, you check out from your hotel and board your private vehicle for the scenic descent through the Palani Hills back to the plains of Coimbatore. Your tour manager arranges your drop-off at Coimbatore Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
